On Tuesday we were suppose to leave on a trip to the DR and Haiti. Many things went into the decision to cancel the trip. The books however have made it to the DR and plans are being made to get the rest of the books to Haiti.

There is good news though; a gift to L’Institut Biblique Logos has made it possible to purchase another solar powered DVD projector system for the Northwest of Haiti. This system has a DVD player, projector and sound system able to be heard by several hundred people at a time, a huge screen so it can also be seen by everyone. All compacted into a backpack for easy travel!

God has also provided a Haitian young man who has been working with us, to take it into the mountains via motorcycle, where the training in gospel is most needed. So although we are not technically going the teaching of the WORD is! The first course will be the doctrine of Salvation. We hope to be able to show the Jesus film in Creole, as well.

 

Thank you all for your prayers for us. We would ask that you continue to pray for us and Haiti that God will continue to reach people for His glory.

We thank the Lord for the way He is using the internet site. People from around the world are signing up to study the word of God in French and Creole. Please pray for us and the students that God’s Word would be made clear to many.

The Miami center opens the second week of September. The press is running in the background as we get courses ready for this fall. All of the other centers in the US and the Caribbean will be going soon too!
